Special registration for the exam/re-exam after the registration deadline

If you have not registered for the exam within the registration deadline, you can fill in and send the form 'Late registration for the exam' from your student email to the Study Administration at studadm@adm.dtu.dk. Remember to attach documentation for the reason why you could not register during the regular registration period.

Special circumstances may include:

 

  • You have been awaiting a decision from the Board of Exemptions regarding an additional exam attempt or a ruling related to an exam cheating case.
  • You have been ill, or there has been illness or a death in your immediate family.
  • You have received special permission from a course coordinator, for example, regarding exam prerequisites approved after the registration deadline.
  • The late registration will enable you to complete your degree immediately after the exam period.

The Study Administration will then try to get your registration approved.

The departments plan the examination (including possible changes to the form of the exam) based on the students who have registered in time, and it is therefore only possible in some cases to be registered after the registration deadline has expired
