Dear all

DTU has decided to introduce time limits for parking spaces with charging stations for electric cars at Lyngby Campus. This is due to ongoing challenges where the same cars occupy parking spaces after charging. We hope that this measure will improve availability and accessibility of the charging stations for the benefit of many users.

DTU has set a time limit of 4 hours for AC chargers and 1 hour for DC chargers.

The Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality’s Traffic and Mobility Unit – Parking has been informed about this initiative, as they handle parking enforcement in the area.

The time limit will be implemented during week 44, and signs will be placed at all parking spaces where the time limit applies.
