The color cartridges are brand new (and the black cartridge half full, and I have an additional original one in unbroken package). They were bought in July 2026, when the printer had prompted me to replace the +/- empty ones. But after their insertion the printer still refused to print anything, only displaying a printer or ink system problem, which according to a phone call with HP supporter indicates a hardware problem (probably because the carriage with the printhead (not only the printhead) is worn out due to age >5 years.

If you wish, my HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One printer could be included in the sale at no extra cost (maybe you have skilled fingers? and would like giving it a try by replacing the printhead carriage, or at least cleaning it as a first try). The printer has served me well, and the scanner still works well (however can't feed itself).
