When does the study start take place

The study start at DTU is considered a continuous period from when the new students receive their final admission letter until the end of the first semester. During this period, there are various offers for the new students.

The new students are welcomed to the study program during a welcome day on Thursday, August 29th, and an introduction day on Friday, August 30th. On Friday evening, there will be a study start party at Lyngby Campus for the new students and study start tutors.

The students spend both the welcome day and the introduction day with their fellow students within their field of study. The days include academic and social activities that introduce the students to their studies and their new study peers.
