Dear colleague,

From July 1st 2025, it will be a legal requirement that waste-producing companies (like DTU) exclusively use transparent/clear bags for waste. The reason being  that incineration plants need to see the content of the garbage bags and check if we have sorted correctly.

This means that if you have rolls of black garbage bags still in stock, now is the time to use them. It is, of course, important that you do not buy more black ones, but instead replace them with transparent/clear ones.
