Wednesday at 12:00 the sirens, the Danish digital warning system and DTU's SMS warning system will be tested

The Danish Emergency Management Agency will test the sirens and Denmark's digital warning system on Wednesday, May 7 at 12:00 and 10 minutes ahead. DTU is taking the opportunity to also test DTU's joint SMS warning system. This will take place at 13:00.

Every year, the Danish Emergency Management Agency and the police test the sirens across the country. They are also testing S!RENEN, which is Denmark's digital warning system. You can read more about testing sirens and S!RENEN on the Danish Emergency Management Agency's website.

DTU is taking the opportunity to test DTU's internal SMS warning system on the same day. Everyone who has signed up for DTU's SMS warning system will therefore receive another test notification at 13:00.  As will be clear from the test notification, you do not need to do anything.

All work mobile phone numbers are automatically transferred from DTU Basen to the warning system.

If you are a student or do not have a DTU work mobile phone, you must register your number yourself.
