Remember to change the end date of your SU if your study period has been extended
If you find yourself in a situation where your study period has been extended beyond the standard time limit due to a delay or other circumstances, it is important that you adjust your education end date at minSU. If you fail to do so, it will result in the discontinuation of your SU payouts after your originally registered end date
Please ensure that your end date at minSU aligns with your actual end date. If your education is registered to end prematurely at minSU, your SU payouts will cease accordingly. You can verify the registered end month of your education in the SU system by checking the upper right corner of your minSU account.
Should you need to adjust your end date, please navigate to "Ret din SU" --> "Forlæng uddannelsen" and select the accurate end date of your education. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your minSU to reflect the updated date. Once you have changed the date, your SU will be extended automatically.
However, if the extension of your end date is due to a change in education (e.g. transitioning from BSc to MSc), you should not extend your education at minSU. Instead, you are required to reapply for SU for your new course of study.
