Extending Your Studies

If you are planning to extend your studies, please remember to register on minSU - even if you have informed DTU about the extension. This also applies if you are starting a transitional semester, because you will be enrolled in your old study programme until finishing the very last course connected to that programme.

You can extend your studies on minSU > RET DIN SU > Forlæng uddannelsen. On minSU you can also check if you have enough SU portions left to receive SU during the extension.

 

SU for your MSc programme

If you are starting an MSc programme in February, you have to reapply for SU (as well as equal status if you are not a Danish citizen). You can apply in January at the earliest, although not before you have received a confirmation that you have been admitted after which you should be able to see your study programme (DTU Overbygning, Civilingeniør) on minSU > SØG SU > Søg SU.

If your study programme has not become visible on minSU by the middle of January, please make sure that you have confirmed the admission letter. If this is the case, please contact the MSc Admission Office.
