Opportunity to support a fellow student - Spring 2026
Do you have good people skills? And would you like a job that is both social and meaningful? We are currently seeking two fellow students to support an incoming exchange student from Germany during the Spring semester 2026. The student uses a wheelchair and requires light support during the day at DTU.
The student is studying Computational Engineering Science, which is an interdisciplinary subject focused on simulation, and is planning to attend the following classes (both Bachelor and Master courses):
- https://kurser.dtu.dk/course/02687 (Scientific Computing for ordinary and partial differential equations)
- https://kurser.dtu.dk/course/41317 (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
- https://kurser.dtu.dk/course/28160 (Mathematical models in chemical engineering)
- https://kurser.dtu.dk/course/41416 (Energy systems - analysis, design and optimization)
Personal information
The student will be 22 years old and he is fluent in German, English and Polish (and would enjoy to be taught a bit of Danish). He is very passionate about maths and physics. He loves to visit art galleries and museums and is a big football and music fan. Furthermore, one of the main reasons coming to DTU for a semester, besides the wish to take on a new academic challenge, is his love for sightseeing and travelling.
A very important thing for me is, that I wont treat my assistant as an employee, as I see it as a great opportunity to socialize and help each other (for instance I love to discus and explain the lecture material with others).
Support needed
- Support to get around campus (in case for example the wheelchair gets stuck)
- Help with carrying the plate in the cafeteria
- Help to use the library
- Help to use public transport (if needed)
About the job

During the spring there is an expected need of 8-10 hours pr week – shared between the two students.
Between the three of you, you are free to make arrangements as to how and when you will/can work.
The hourly wage is 150,67 D.Kr.
You will be employed via the company DUOS. DUOS – velfærdsydelser af høj kvalitet
The student will arrive in Copenhagen in the last week of January for the introductory week.
