Registration and withdrawal
You can only register for and withdraw from courses using the Study Planner. You must register for courses by 15 May at 11:59 pm. However, you can register for courses after 27 May that have either not been cancelled or are fully booked.
Once your course registration has been approved, you can see it in your study plan, as the individual courses are marked with a tick. When you register for courses, you can print a receipt of your registrations. The receipt will be sent to your student email. You can use the receipt or a screenshot of your study plan to document your registrations.
If you cannot register for courses using the Study Planner before the deadline, you must contact the Study Administration at studadm@adm.dtu.dk in good time.
Study activity requirements
Please note that you must comply with DTU’s deadlines. You are responsible for complying with the deadlines through your course registrations.

If you have not registered for a course during the ordinary registration period, you cannot take part in the draw or get on the waiting list.
If you have registered for a course that is cancelled, you can register for another course during the post-enrolment period if there are any vacant places. You must register for a new course yourself.
Procedure for lot drawings
All lot drawings will be finished by 23 May.
Below, you can read what the individual definitions for the draw mean:
- "Plads" means your place on the course is guaranteed.
- “Tabt lodtrækning” means you have lost the draw.
- “Venteliste” means you are on a waiting list and may get a place on the course if some of the participants on the course do not attend the first lesson.
If you have lost the draw, you will receive an email by 24 May at the latest.
If you have been given a place on a course with a waiting list, but you do not attend the first lesson and you have not received prior written permission from the lecturer, your place will be given to the student present with the lowest number on the waiting list. You will be withdrawn from the course without warning.
You can read more about the rules regarding fully booked courses/lottery on DTU Inside under “Participation in Limited Admission Courses”.
Registration past the registration period
If you have not registered for a 3-week course before the registration period ends, the Study Planner will be open for supplementary registration for courses with vacant places during the abovementioned periods. During the post-enrolment period, you can only register for a course with limited admission if you have a written agreement with the course coordinator. The agreement must sent to the Study Administration before you can be registered for the course.
Where does the teaching take place?
You can find a course room plan for the 3-week periods at DTU Inside. The overview will be updated with the 3-week periods one week before the periods begin.
