The digital library

As a student or teacher at DTU you have access to the digital library DTU Findit with millions of scientific articles and e-books - anytime, anywhere with your DTU login. With our online library service DTU Findit you search across all the electronic journals and e-books covered by DTU licence and all the DTU Library books in print.

Articles which are not online available directly because they are not covered by our licenses can be requested against payment. For DTU staff this expense is covered by the central DTU information budget. For DTU students the cost is DKK 50 per article and you pay directly via DTU Findit with card.

The physical library

Find DTU Library on Lyngby Campus in building 101. You can access the library with your student card and code, day and night, all week - 24/7!

Databar

The databar on the 1st floor of DTU Library, Lyngby, offers computer workplaces of different kind: for solo work or in couples, with DTU PC or you can dock your own laptop, with big curved screens, and some with adjustable tables.

Printing in B/W is free of charge.

Study places and group study rooms

At the library in Lyngby there are a number of study areas in the library. Group study rooms and booths must be booked - see links below.

Study environment

There are several lounge areas on all floors in the library in Lyngby. 

Find poster printers (up to A1), 3D printers, a video studio, a podcast studio, and a VR-studio (DTU Media Lab) etc. in the basement.

Courses and counseling

Library Service desk offers general library guidance or you can make an appointment with a librarian for specific counselling - or join one of our courses.
