How to participate

As a student at DTU, you can participate in Roskilde Festival - powered by DTU students, no matter your year or study programme.

There are four different ways of participating in the collaboration: the two specialized DTU // Roskilde Festival courses, with a project course of your choice, through another course or project you are doing, or as a volunteer with TechLab.

Roskilde Festival courses at DTU

There are two courses in the DTU course database where enrolment guarantees your spot in the collaboration. The courses are: 12135 Waste management at Roskilde Festival and 31245 Acoustic relations at Roskilde Festival. Make sure that you fulfil the required course prerequisites before enrolment.

Special course

You can create a 5 ECTS credit course with a topic of your choice revolving around your Roskilde Festival project. You must find a DTU supervisor and have your project approved by the Roskilde Festival group. You can seek inspiration on DTU Inside at Project ideas for inspiration. For more information on the project approval process, follow the guidelines in Apply with a project. The rules for creating a project course at DTU can be found by following the link: Project courses.

Roskilde Festival project through another course

Are you doing your bachelor's or master's thesis, scientific project, or another course that you deem relevant for Roskilde Festival? Then you can include Roskilde Festival as a part of your project or course and participate in the collaboration that way. The requirement is that your work will be beneficial not only for your project but also for the festival. The application process follows the same as for the project course, Apply with a project.
