Apply with a project

Are you planning on creating a project course or a project in another course? Then follow this guide:

To apply, please fill out the following form before the 2nd of april, 2024: https://forms.office.com/e/wcAjKTAPfG?origin=lprLink

Your application should include the name and student number of every participant, the name of the project and the name of your counsellor (if you already have one). Together with a project description, which needs to provide answers to the following (approx. one page):

  • What is the project about?
  • What issue is it trying to solve?
  • What are the technical and practical challenges related to the project?
  • How is the project beneficial to Roskilde Festival and to you as a student?

Your project has to go through the following process to be approved:

  1. Come up with an idea. (You can get inspiration from former projects, fellow students, DTU supervisors or your own experience.
  2. Send a short description of your idea to info@roskilde.dtu.dk, describing the idea. (Preferable with an illustration).
  3. After receiving the project description from you, we will prepare it for Roskilde Festival. in cooperation. Together with our contacts from the festival, we then find a supervisor for the project. When this has been done, we will establish contact between you and the supervisor. From this point on, it is your task to execute the project in cooperation with your supervisor at the festival.
  4. At the end of April, the Student Platform will consider all ongoing projects and choose which projects will be a part of the final cooperation. (At this point you are guaranteed a ticket for the festival.)
  5. When the project has gotten the final approval from the festival, all of the participants in the project will have to sign a contract.

You are more than welcome to step by the office in building 372, room 224, and talk with the project coordinators, who are part of the selection process and can help you with some advice and ideas.
