The Polyteknisk Forening (simply called 'PF') is the student association at DTU.  PF is involved in virtually all areas of student life—political, academic, and social.

De Studerendes Erhvervskontakt

DSE is the students’ business contact—an independent, non-political, and economically self-supporting association. DSE is represented at DTU and Aalborg University (AAU). The objective of the association is to generate dialogue that makes it possible for the students and the business community to keep updated on the latest developments within each others' fields and to facilitate contact between students and companies on projects, internships, or jobs, for example. Further, DSE arranges trade shows and various Focus-evenings at DTU.

Hypatia – Women in Engineering

Hypatia – Women in Engineering is a network for all women in Engineering. Through different activities like inspiring talks, workshops, dinners and interesting visits to companies, Hypatia is working towards strengthening its member’s personal network, both socially and professionally. The mission of Hypatia is to create a network between female engineering students and graduates through social or professional events. The events either have a professional focus to develop skills of the members and expand their professional network, or a social focus to strengthen the network between members.

ESN DTU

ESN DTU is the local Erasmus Student Network (ESN) at DTU. The association aims to provide incoming international students with the opportunity to get to know Denmark and Danish culture by organizing various events.

Venture Cup

For over a decade, Venture Cup has worked to help and inspire young entrepreneurs and empower university students and researchers to develop their ideas into successful companies. Venture Cup holds two annual competitions: the Idea Competition and Venture Cup Startup Competition.

IAESTE

IAESTE is an association that manages the international exchange programmes of Danish and internatonal students with technical and scientific education. The association was founded in 1948 to further a better understanding between countries and cultures.

BEST

The European organization, BEST, arranges summer courses at technical universities around Europe, the BEST Engineering Competition (the biggest engineering competition in Europe), as well as a lot of social activities throughout the year.

Copenhagen Management Consulting Club

As a DTU student, you will already have acquired analytical problem-solving skills. The combination of the management consultants’ knowledge of how best to advise management and your analytical expertise is a skill set highly sought by the business community. The CPH Management Consulting Club aims to develop your analytical and presentation skills further while familiarizing you with the consulting industry. The club provides knowledge, events, and network opportunities in collaboration with the industry’s top-tier consultancies to give you this skill set.

WESA - Wind Energy Student Association

WESA is the Wind Energy Student Association at DTU, where all students interested in wind energy get together regularly. We provide a platform for networking between students and industry, finding new friends, and helping each other. Founded in the fall of 2016, there are already more than 140 international members from different master's programmes related to wind energy, but the members also include bachelor students, PhD students, and recent graduates.
