International Student Services

Inclusion. Diversity. Community: At International Student Services we help and guide students who are on their way out into the world - and students who come to DTU from other parts of the world. We also work to improve the well-being of international students and create a more diverse and welcoming campus, where domestic and non-domestic students meet across the board!

At our front desk, the Guidance Team can help with a whole range of things, including the following:

Studying Abroad

  • Exchange stays through Study Abroad
  • Other stays abroad, e.g. internships and writing thesis' abroad
  • Credit transfer, grants and scholarships
  • Grade transcripts, study confirmations and other "paperwork"

Incoming students (Full Degree and Exchange)

  • Questions about admission to DTU*
  • Questions about residence permits, CPR and other practicalities when arriving to Denmark
  • Student cards, course registration as well as onboarding to 'how-do-things-work-at-DTU'
  • Learning Agreements, arrival/departure forms and the like.
  • Guidance if you are having difficulties settling into Denmark and/or at DTU

*) If you have questions about the application process and the application form for DTU's MSc Programs, please contact the international admissions team at mscadmissions@adm.dtu.dk.

Well-being and social activities

We are passionate about giving Master Students and exchange students the best experience at DTU and we have a special focus on well-being for non-domestic students.

Through Welcome Day, Introduction Week, our Buddy Program etc. International Student Services works to create the best possible start to your studies.

A good start is not always enough, however. We work towards increasing well-being and combatting loneliness on a non-stop basis. We have outfitted our Students Culture Hub Team to arrange events, activities, competitions, etc. with the purpose to create forums to meet new people, and create joy with others! We work to expand your horizons and get create a sense of community across nationalities.

If you have an idea for an event or initiative, we'd love to hear from you too! Shoot us an email at sch@dtu.dk with your ideas!
