Study Guidance

How can DTU Study Guidance help you?

We can help you with everything about the programmes, DTU's rules and your well-being at DTU. Among many other topics, we can help you with:

  • choice of study programme
  • study planning
  • credit transfer application
  • exemption and leave of absence
  • guidance on DTU's rules
  • guidance on opportunities and challenges

You are also welcome to contact us if you have questions or problems of a more personal nature. If we cannot help you, we will refer you to someone who can.

You can always contact us with full privacy. All study advisors have a duty of confidentiality, so whatever you tell us will remain confidential.

How to get in contact with us

If you need to speak to an advisor, you can always use our drop-in guidance or call us during opening hours.

We always have several advisors on hand during opening hours, so we do our best to keep the waiting time as short as possible.

We always have time to help you with any issues you may be facing in your student life.

If it turns out that you need a longer appointment, we'll work out a plan together to get you the guidance you need. For example, we may need to arrange a time when you can return for a new appointment, or we may need to signpost you to others who can help you.

You can also contact us by email. We respond to emails in the order in which we receive them. Therefore, if you have an urgent matter, it is always quicker to call us or use our drop-in guidance.
